Kelly Frost (aka ‘Frosty’) is originally from Springfield, Ohio. He worked at Honda in Marysville for 20 years and spent 34 years coaching high school football at Springfield Shawnee.
Kelly’s son has spent most of his life in the restaurant business and has owned two restaurants. Over the winter, Kelly and his son began talking about the possibility of getting involved with the restaurant, but for a variety of reasons, the timing didn’t work out and the idea was put on the back burner.
Then, at the end of May 2026, Kelly’s son asked if Kelly and his wife, Lori, were still interested in pursuing the idea of a new restaurant. Their answer was an enthusiastic YES!
Kelly and Lori are still learning the ins and outs of the restaurant business and appreciate everyone’s patience and support along the way. Most importantly, they are committed to providing great food and the best possible service to every customer, whether you’re joining them in the restaurant or stopping by the drive-thru.
And as their wedding photo might suggest, maybe Shipwrecked was meant to be part of their story all along!
